Bio-aesthetics: regeneration meets aesthetics.

Cellular medicine — exosomes, stem cells, growth factors — layered with traditional aesthetic treatments. The part of aesthetic medicine that works below the surface. Results that extend beyond what fillers and lasers alone can deliver.

The Science

What bio-aesthetics actually means.

Bio-aesthetics is the application of cellular medicine to aesthetic outcomes. Instead of working on the visible surface alone — smoothing wrinkles, filling volume, removing pigment — we work at the cellular level, supporting your body to repair, regenerate, and produce its own collagen, elastin, and growth factors.

The treatments rest on real science. Exosomes are signaling molecules that orchestrate tissue repair. Stem cells differentiate into specialized cell types your skin and hair follicles need. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) concentrates the growth factors already in your blood. None of this is fringe — it is the leading edge of regenerative medicine being applied to aesthetic outcomes.

The Therapies

Four bio-aesthetic treatments, four goals.

Each cellular therapy addresses something different. They are most often layered with traditional aesthetic treatments — exosomes after a laser session, PRP under microneedling, stem cells alongside surgical recovery — rather than offered as standalone services.

  • Exosome therapy — cellular messengers that signal tissue repair. Used topically post-laser, post-microneedling, or injected into the scalp for hair restoration.
  • Stem cell aesthetic therapy — supports tissue regeneration and skin quality. Often integrated with surgery for accelerated, higher-quality healing.
  • PRP / PRF (Platelet-Rich Plasma / Fibrin) — concentrated growth factors drawn from your own blood. The "vampire facial," hair restoration, and more recently, joint recovery.
  • Combination protocols — most patients see best results from layered protocols. Exosomes + biostimulators. PRP + microneedling. Stem cells + surgical recovery. The whole is more than the sum of the parts.

Candidates

Who bio-aesthetics is for.

Bio-aesthetic treatments are best for patients who want to extend the longevity of other aesthetic results, address concerns that surface treatments cannot fully resolve (deep texture changes, hair thinning, slow surgical recovery), or take a regenerative approach to aging rather than purely cosmetic.

They are most powerful as part of a combination plan, not standalone. We typically integrate bio-aesthetics with one or more other treatments rather than recommending them in isolation. The honest conversation at consultation includes whether bio-aesthetics actually adds value for your specific concerns — sometimes it does, sometimes it does not.

The Process

From consultation to treatment.

Bio-aesthetic protocols vary widely by treatment. The framework below applies broadly to most cellular therapies.

  1. 01

    Cellular health consultation

Initial conversation covering goals, history, current treatments, and how bio-aesthetics could integrate. We discuss what is realistic and what is not.

  2. 02

    Protocol design

Custom plan: which therapies, at what intervals, integrated with which other treatments. Costs and expected outcomes laid out before any decision.

  3. 03

    Treatment session

30–90 minutes depending on protocol. Some treatments require a blood draw (PRP). Most are minimally uncomfortable; some involve micro-injections with topical numbing.

  4. 04

    Post-treatment support

Cellular treatments build over days and weeks. Specific aftercare instructions and check-ins to monitor response.

  5. 05

    Series progression

Most bio-aesthetic protocols benefit from a series of treatments spaced weeks apart. Results compound over 3–6 months of consistent treatment.

Why ASA Health MD

The leading edge, applied carefully.

  • Combined, not standalone

We integrate bio-aesthetics with other aesthetic treatments where it adds real value. Not sold as a standalone "miracle" service.

  • Physician-directed

Cellular medicine requires medical judgment about indication, dosing, and integration. Dr. Lee directs every bio-aesthetic protocol.

  • Evidence-based

We use cellular therapies with real research support. We do not chase every trend that appears in aesthetic media. If the science is thin, we wait.

  • Patient education

We explain what each cellular therapy actually does — and what it does not. No magic-bullet language. Realistic expectations create satisfied patients.
