ASA Health MD

Cosmetic surgery, planned with restraint.

Breast, body, and facial procedures performed by a board-certified physician. Every surgery starts with an honest conversation about whether surgery is actually the answer — and ends with a result that looks like you, not like work.

The Decision

When surgery is the right answer — and when it is not.

Cosmetic surgery is the most permanent and impactful aesthetic intervention available. It is also the most consequential — recovery is real, risk is real, and the result you get is largely permanent. Which is why the consultation matters so much.

Many patients arrive considering surgery and leave with a different plan: injectables, threads, lasers, or a combination that gets them 80% of the result without the cost or recovery. We will tell you honestly when surgery is and is not the right answer. If non-surgical treatments can deliver what you want, we recommend those first.

Common Procedures

The procedures we perform.

We focus on procedures where Dr. Lee's experience and outcomes are strongest. Every procedure listed below has its own consultation conversation — what is realistic, what to expect, what the recovery actually looks like.

  • Breast Augmentation — implants or fat transfer, sized to your anatomy and lifestyle. Natural proportions over dramatic size increases.
  • Liposuction & Body Contouring — targeted fat removal for areas that exercise and diet cannot reach. Best for body contouring, not weight loss.
  • Facelift — restores facial contours, jawline definition, and neck. The right call when sagging is structural, not just textural.
  • Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) — removes loose skin and tightens abdominal muscles, often after pregnancy or major weight loss.
  • Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty) — addresses heavy upper eyelids or under-eye bags. One of the highest-impact procedures for visible age.
  • Brow Lift — repositions the brow to open the upper face. Often combined with eyelid surgery for the full upper-face restoration.

Candidates

Who cosmetic surgery is for.

Surgical candidates are patients in good health, with realistic expectations, who have a concern that non-surgical treatments cannot address. Stable weight (not actively losing or gaining), non-smokers (or willing to stop at least 4 weeks pre-op), and not actively pregnant or planning pregnancy in the near term.

We turn away patients who arrive expecting transformation rather than refinement, or whose mental and physical health context makes elective surgery the wrong call. The honest "we are not the right fit for you" conversation is part of the work.

The Process

From consultation through full recovery.

Cosmetic surgery is a multi-month journey. Here is how it unfolds at ASA Health MD.

  1. 01

    Consultation

60–90 minute conversation. Goals, anatomy, medical history, realistic outcomes. You leave with a treatment plan, a quote, and time to decide — no same-day pressure.

  2. 02

    Pre-operative planning

Medical clearance, imaging if needed, pre-op instructions on medications, smoking, alcohol, and supplements. Lifestyle adjustments start 2–4 weeks before surgery.

  3. 03

    Surgery day

Procedure duration varies (1–6 hours). Most are outpatient with general or twilight anesthesia. You will need a driver and someone to stay with you the first 24 hours.

  4. 04

    Recovery

1–6 weeks depending on procedure. We map out specific milestones — first walk, first shower, drain removal, return to work, return to exercise.

  5. 05

    Follow-up

Multiple visits across the first year of healing. Final result is typically assessed at 6–12 months — surgery results continue to refine for that long.

Why ASA Health MD

Surgery, the way it should be considered.

  • Surgery is not the default

We recommend the least-invasive option that actually delivers your goal. Many surgical consultations end with a non-surgical plan that gets you what you want.

  • Restraint over excess

Natural proportions, conservative implant sizes, refined results. We pace surgery to your anatomy and your life — not to maximize cost per procedure.

  • Continuity of care

Your non-surgical pre-op planning, your surgery, and your post-op recovery all happen here. No referrals, no re-explaining your history.

  • Honest expectations

Recovery is real. Risk is real. Scarring is real. We walk you through all of it before you decide, never after.
